Intention is a subjective phenomenon emerging in higher order systems allowing for populations of mechanism designers. The inversion of intentions allows for the emergence of unintended consequences.

Rule Sets

Rule sets describe system rules with the intention of allowing and prohibiting certain system behaviours for the purpose of desirable outcomes from the mechanism designer’s point of view. Rule sets can never fully match their underlying action spaces, because action spaces are fundamentally enforced by Protocol Particles and rule sets are artificial imposed by mechanism designers. This is how any rule set gives rise to MEV. The same kind of energetic deltas exist between rule sets within the same system.
